How quickly can you clear a flat in London?
Often the same day or within 24 hours of you getting in touch, depending on where you are and how much there is. Most studio to two-bedroom flats are cleared in a single visit, and we’ll tell you how long to expect when we quote.
My flat is on an upper floor with no lift. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Tell us which floor the flat is on when you ask for a quote, so we can send the right size team, dismantle anything too big for the stairwell and price the job accurately.
Our building has rules for lifts, working hours or contractors. Can you work around them?
Yes. If the lift needs booking or protecting, the concierge needs notice or work has to happen within set hours, let us know when you book and we’ll plan the clearance around it. If your managing agent asks for our waste carrier licence details beforehand, we can send them.
Can you clear just part of the flat?
Yes. Whether it’s one room, a sofa and a wardrobe or everything except a few pieces you’re keeping, we take only what you want gone and price only for that.
Do I need to be there on the day?
No. Many landlords, executors and families leave a key with the concierge, a neighbour or the letting agent. We agree beforehand exactly what goes and what stays.
Can you clear storage cages, balconies or a garage too?
Yes, in the same visit. Mention any basement storage, balcony, garage, shed or garden space when you ask for a quote so we can include it in the price.
Is there anything you can't take?
We take almost all household items, including furniture, mattresses, white goods and electricals. We can’t take hazardous waste such as asbestos, chemicals, paint tins or gas bottles. If you’re unsure, ask when you book.
Do you work with landlords, letting agents and solicitors?
Yes. We regularly clear flats between tenancies, for probate and ahead of sales across London, and can invoice the landlord, agent, estate or solicitor directly.
